"The greater good is about making choices that take all beings that live on this planet into consideration before all else."

What was your previous (or current other) career, training or background?

I started out as a Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator and herbalist but soon found that I wanted to go deeper with empowering women on a spiritual level. This led to a deepening within myself as I apprenticed within the realms of the spirit world. There is no formal training that teaches us how to work with the ancestors.

What change are you seeking to create through this initiative?

My passion is working with folks who self identify as women to come back to their own empowerment around their spiritual lives. There is nothing more powerful then a women who remembers who they are and can come back home to themselves as spiritual beings.

The Red Moon Mystery School is a non hierarchal, safe place for women to dive into their own inner terrain and mystery.

What does the concept of ‘the greater good’ mean to you?

The term “Greater Good” has a much different meaning for me then it once did. There was once a time when I saw it as somehow being “higher” than everything else, and I saw myself in it. I now understand that as a white woman whose ancestors settled here in Canada, I have always benefited and had the privilege of seeing myself within and carrying the possibility to work for the “Greater Good”.

I now see this understanding though a much different lens, and see the greater good as something that requires equality first for all humans, and that working for the greater good, requires deep humility and understanding how the over-culture of capitalism and sadly white supremacy work against us, making the Greater Good, easier to achieve for some over others. For me, the greater good is about making choices that take all beings that live on this planet into consideration before all else.
