What was your previous (or current other) career, training or background?
As a tech-savvy project coordinator with Business and ICT training, I worked in telecommunications and hospitality for 7 years as well as in leadership, strategy and innovation certification. Currently I am a social entrepreneur and a digital innovation enthusiast and big on women’s empowerment.
What change are you seeking to create through this initiative?
My mission is to create opportunities and spaces in digital entrepreneurship for women, as their potential is under-exploited due to cultural gender biases, unequal access to funding and lack of representation. I am also deeply committed to ending period poverty. I aspire to become a force of social entrepreneurship in Kenya and Africa.
