What was your previous (or current other) career, training or background?
I spent over 30 years in education as a teacher and principal in secondary schools, as head of an all girls school, and as President of the Ontario Principals’ Council.
What change are you seeking to create through this initiative?
I want organizations and individuals to value and acknowledge the significant contributions that older adults can continue to make to their communities and to future economic prosperity.
What does the concept of ‘the greater good’ mean to you?
Greater good means that the “change” benefits more than the individual and includes community and/or the world at large.
