What change are you seeking to create through this initiative?

Increase breastfeeding rates and duration worldwide and in turn, decrease rates of disease in both mother and baby including many types of cancers, NEC, respiratory illness, bacterial meningitis, infant mortality and SIDS.

As well, we pledge to reduce textile waste by creating products that are beautiful, functional and of the highest quality so as to not join the 25B tons of textiles that end up in North American landfills annually, most of which are non-biodegradable. Textile waste is one of the fastest growing categories of waste globally; the reality is that only 1% of clothing is actually recycled (milled into new yardage).

What does the concept of ‘the greater good’ mean to you?

Working together to create a better world—no excuses; it can be done. And it is time.
